It’s almost time for Baby #3.
Whoa where did the time go? This pregnancy has flown by. Im now 30+ weeks with baby number 3 and currently diving deeply into the nesting phase of things. Mentally preparing myself for late nights and breastfeeding. Baby prepping is usually a task I find difficult, however I did a thing this time around, I spaced my children ONLY what will be 19 months apart, therefore I still remember which baby necessities I will actually use. I also shopped online at Walmart for their “Best Of Baby Month” products to benefit from their 30 days of savings on top brands for babies.
First things first, feeding! both my children are breast fed and I have never gone into the breastfeeding journey without a Medela Pump. I mean I just can’t imagine not having this very important tool in my corner during such a trying time in both mine and our babies life. This time while breastfeeding I am going to go with the Medela On The Go Tote for its sleek and convenient style.
Bath time, is such a special time, so using the right products is very important to me. Both my children have eczema therefore I’m just going to assume my third will as well. This time I purchased only the products I know have worked on soothing their skin. I have also picked up my go to baby shampoo for cradle cap (baby dandruff). I didn’t use this on my son and all of his hair fell out, he was such a beautiful bald baby hehe! When Sofia was born she started to get cradle cap and I thought no way! not happening! I really wanted to put bows in her hair. With a little research I found Mustela Foam shampoo for babies and her hair seized to fall out making this shampoo one of my baby necessities. I also love lavender scented baby calming products like the Dove Baby Night Time Lotion. Not only does this product work in calming a fussy baby, it deeply moisturizes their dry skin. Pictured are a few of my other favorites.
In good prepping fashion, I decided a new baby means diving into the world of potty training. Wish me luck! With this means finding ways to convince Sofia to try something new and like most little girls she loves pretty things. I found training pants that I can just throw in the washing machine. Hello Savings! I have not seen these Gerber Training pants before browsing Walmart.com. Have you tried these? Tell us all about them in the comments please, also drop any tips on toilet training you found have worked. Lastly I just picked up a few basics like Gerber organic onesies and socks with a few receiving blankets. I surprisingly still have so many unused baby things from my last pregnancy, which I plan to use this time around. If this is your first pregnancy then go crazy, you earned it.
There are a few more days to enjoy these savings so hurry over and grab a few of your baby necessities.
