It’s a rainy day here in New York, so I decided now is the best time to organize my refrigerator. We will soon be a family of five and I just know staying some what organized will be what helps me function daily. While keeping my sons dresser clean and tidy is a lost cause, I feel areas like my office and kitchen will be the best areas to start in our home organization journey.
Anxiety arises from not being able to see the whole picture. If you feel anxious, but are not sure why, try putting your things in order.
First thing I had to do was analyze my fridge, what was staying and what was clearly going. I hate to throw out things however if it is necessary get it done. Second task was to wipe down all the surfaces and add a liner to the shelves. I found pretty blue flower liners at Walmart that were from the “Pioneer Woman” line. Now organize!
Along with organizing, I decided to put all my drinks like orange and apple juice as well as water into clear juice bottles. I added a refreshing twist like lemon and mint to my water so I can possibly consume more of it during my pregnancy. This small hack has worked. These bottles can be found in HomeGoods.
maximizing on space is key, since I do not have a big refrigerator. I used this egg drawer that attaches to the shelf above, and glides out when needed. This allowed me to use the space beneath it for these little glass jars from HomeGoods that hold my fruit. I also used a cute basket for my grapes and lemons. How cute is this liner I spoke of earlier?
As most of you know I am expecting my third child and that has set me on a organization journey. I have finished with my renovations in the kitchen dining room, and this refrigerator was just too messy and cluttered for my brain. Now everything is in its place and I truly feel great when I go in and reach for something. With this done I can continue to Prep for baby.
